Description

In 2019, the art world was crazy with the news of a new piece by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan.  He taped a banana to a wall, called it “Comedian” and sold it for $120,000.  Now I don’t like to copy other artists’ work, but I thought that someone might enjoy a more permanent form of this piece, so I made one from scrap metal.  I found out that making and forming steel into a banana is not as easy I thought it might be!
